Because someone should notice if you don't check in.
We make non-medical wellbeing check-ins accessible to all. By working with charities, community organisations, businesses and the public sector, we use technology for good, helping people maintain independence, feel connected and reassured that someone will notice if they don't check in.

Five Questions. One Big Impact.
Here's what people often ask us about The YourPING Foundation, and how we're working to make daily reassurance a reality for more people.
What does the Foundation do?
We use technology to make daily reassurance check-ins accessible to people who live, work, study or travel alone, helping them stay connected and feel noticed.
Who do we work with?
We work with charities, community groups and social enterprises (the VCSE sector) to add an extra layer of daily reassurance for them and the people they support.
How partnerships work
We offer pilot programmes and subsidised check-ins to selected organisations, tailored to both your needs and those of the people you support.
Where the money goes
As a Community Interest Company, any surpluses are reinvested to improve access, support community projects, and help more people feel reassured daily.
Could we help your community?
If you think YourPING could make a difference to the people you support, we'd love to have a conversation and explore what we might achieve together.
The YourPING Foundation CIC is a Community Interest Company limited by guarantee created to deliver lasting benefit for the communities we support.

From our Founder, Steffi Lewis
Some years ago, I read the sad story of Joyce Vincent. Like so many others, I found it deeply upsetting that she went unnoticed for so long. It wasn't just the story itself that stayed with me; it was the questions it left behind. Who would notice if that were me? And how long would it take?
That stayed with me. I wasn't worried about the worst happening tomorrow. I simply couldn't shake the feeling that, in a world where so many live alone, work remotely, or value their independence, there had to be a better way to know that someone was okay.
Being a software developer, I naturally assumed someone must have solved this already. So I went looking. I found plenty of wellbeing apps, online communities and support networks. Some were a little too 'woo-woo' for me, many were US-based which raised questions about where and how my data would be handled, while others wanted to pair me with complete strangers for a chat if I wasn't okay. Some focused on meditation, mindfulness or changing how I felt.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with any of that. It just wasn't what I was looking for. I didn't want another social network. I didn't want to chat to strangers. I didn't want an app that tried to change me or even sell my data. I just wanted something that would quietly ask, ''Are you okay today Steffi?'' and, if I didn't reply (or said that I wasn't ok), let someone I trusted know.
I couldn't find a simple UK service that did exactly that, so I decided to build it myself.
But as I developed the idea and started talking to other people, something else became clear. The same simple technology could do more than support individuals or their loved ones. It could also help the VCSE sector provide reassurance to the people they already support.
That is why I've created The YourPING Foundation CIC. The Foundation gives us a way to work with charities, community groups and social enterprises; to run pilot programmes; to provide subsidised access where funding allows; and to explore new ways of using simple technology for social good.
It isn't about replacing human contact, the carers, the support workers or the organisations already doing extraordinary work in our communities. It's about empowering them with a simple tool that can help someone feel connected, while making it easier to notice when something is wrong.
Every line of code, every feature and every decision behind YourPING has been guided by one simple belief: technology doesn't have to be complicated to make a real difference. Our Foundation allows us to take that belief into communities and organisations where simple technology can have a meaningful impact.
Sometimes the most reassuring thing in the world is knowing that someone will notice if you don't check in.
Best Wishes STEFFI LEWIS Founder & CEO
