Introducing YourPING: Because someone should notice if you don't check in
There are moments in life that most people never really think about until they happen to someone else. A missed message. An unanswered phone call. Curtains that stay closed for a few days longer than usual ... YourPING means trusted contacts will know to reach out if you don't check in We live in a world where millions of people live independently, work remotely or spend large parts of their lives on their own. It has become surprisingly easy for someone to quietly disappear from normal routines without anybody immediately noticing. That is the problem YourPING was created to address!YourPING is a simple daily check-in service designed to help people stay connected through small, consistent moments of reassurance. The idea is straightforward. Users receive a daily prompt through browser notifications, SMS or email and confirm they are okay with a quick response. If someone misses their check-in and does not respond after reminders, trusted contacts can be alerted so someone they know can check in with them personally. The service is intentionally simple because the people it is designed for are everyday people living everyday lives. It is for remote workers spending long days at home behind screens. It is for freelancers and self-employed professionals who may not see colleagues regularly. It is for older adults living independently, people recovering from illness, shift workers, gamers, students, single professionals, and anyone whose routine might otherwise go unnoticed if something unexpected were to happen. Importantly, YourPING is not about surveillance | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
